THEATRE, A TOOL FOR SOCIAL INCLUSION

In this course, participants will be invited to discover different techniques and theater games. Accessible to all, the exercises will highlight an original form to create a bond between people in the same group. Theater, beyond its function of creation and interpretation, brings people to connect each other. In this way, we develop group cohesion based on trust, mutual aid and awareness.
Because the theater makes it possible to highlight individuals, to promote initiatives, to reveal creative potential and much more. A self-confidence that goes through trust in others and that allows everyone to find their place and become an actor in their own role; both on stage and in life.
Objectives of this training :
- Trust yourself and others to find your role in a group

Puppet, object theatre : express yourself !

In this training, participants will learn how to use simple methods related to object theater and puppetry in general. It will not be a question of making a puppet strictly speaking but rather of using simple objects and materials to easily represent a character and create a story.
The idea is to be able to reproduce the exercises and games in a simple way in (almost) any context.
We are surrounded by everyday objects, but what happens when we give them our attention ? How can we place the object at the center of a story, at the heart of an emotion ? How can the object become a real tool for narration and expression ?
So many questions that will be raised throughout the training by the "learning by doing" method.
Participants will be active and theory will always be linked to practice.
Objectives of this training :
- Discover an original and innovative artistic practice

- Use object theater as a space for expression and a pretext to convey a message

THEATRE in classroom

In this training we offer participants the opportunity of "learning by doing" in order to explore games and theater exercises which can then be implemented in class. The idea is not to train in acting but to be able to offer a group of children and young people activities around the theatre.
These activities can thus be linked, on a case-by-case basis, to the objectives pursued by each person with their group (trust, inclusion, cooperation, communication, creativity, etc.)
This training is more designed for teachers but is open to all and can be adapted.
Objectives of this training :
- Learn theater exercises and know how to recreate them in class
- Understand and apply the exercises according to the objectives and the students
- Know how to use theater tools to develop creativity, group dynamics, communication and expression (and others)
- Know how to integrate a theater activity into an educational program
- Be able to organize a workshop within his class (schedule, duration, place...)

This training is not a French course, nor a theater course. It is an original form that will allow people learning French to practice this language in an innovative, fun and creative way. As we know, the theater is intimately linked to the use of words, to oral expression.
It will therefore be a question of using and discovering theater techniques to loosen tongues and dare to practice. On the other hand, positioning yourself as an actor will allow you to let your imagination run wild, gain confidence and work on your relationship to oral and physical expression. In a collective and fun way, participants will be invited to work together to develop a benevolent atmosphere conducive to free speech.

THE LANGUAGE OF IMAGE : UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE
What language is more direct and universal than that of the image ?
However, the same idea can be expressed in a thousand different ways.
It is a means of absolute freedom, where everyone can share their vision, play, try, express themselves.
And this language has become more accessible than ever these days, everyone can take out the camera from their smartphone at any time.
During five days of introduction to video, participants will discover the major stages of the design of a short film through the
production of their own editing*.
Objectives of this training :
-understand the basics of video language
-be aware of the different stages of the development of a film and be able to apply it
(writing, filming, editing)
-develop self-confidence and listening skills
-bring out a group dynamic through a creative activity
-address a new approach in a professional setting

PHYSICAL THEATRE FOR TEAM BUILDING
Physical Theatre is a type of performance where physical movement is the primary method of storytelling, comunication, expressing of emotions and feelings. In such a performance to have safe environment and trustful ensemble is of core importance. That is why phisical theatre developed a lot of tools, games and exercises for team building through non-verbal communication.
Those tools can be very useful in many areas: schools, universities, vulnarable communities, etc.
How to bring together people of different origin and culture ? How to build and maintain a safe environment for their common work ? How to manage a team to work together ?
Within this workshop we will try some of the most usuful tool for team building. All exercises were specifically designed for people with no previous background in performing arts.
Objectives of the training :
- Get acquainted with means of non-verbal communication;
- Get acquainted with non-judgmental approach;
- Build safe space within the group for learning, working and communication;
- Manage group dynamics;
- Get acquainted with the tools to build ensemble;
- Find a way to feel good in a team work.
